Doch auch in Hollywood ist nicht alles Schein auch Sein. Siena muss anfangen herauszufinden wer ihre Freunde und wer ihre Feinde sind.
Charaktere:
Bagshawe beschreibt in ihrem Buch den Fall und Aufstieg einer ganzen Familie. Siena ist zwar die die Protagonistin aber sie ist nur ein einzelner Handlungsstrang. Ihr vorrausgehend ist die Geschichte zwischen Duke, seiner Familie und der jungen Caroline.
Dann ist natürlich die Handlung zwischen Pete und Claire, Sienas Eltern. Sowie Siena, Max, Hunter und Tiffany. Und zu guter letzt die zwischen Max und seiner Familie.
Siena macht im Laufe des Buches einige Wandlungen durch und spielt zwei verschieden Charaktere. Den nach außen, wo sie unnahbar und perfekt ist und den nach innen vor Hunter und Max, wo sie verletzlich und unsicher ist.
Jeder dieser Charaktere ist perfekt gestaltet und sorgt dafür das ein perfektes Gesamtbild der Familie entsteht.

Fazit:
Ich mochte das Buch, es ist locker erzählt zeigt jedoch auch die Tiefen Hollywoods auf. Das einzige verwirrende war manchmal die Figurenconstellation. So habe ich gerade bei Hunter und Caroline oftmals den Überblick verloren wer jetzt zu wem gehört. Auch die Beziehung der Figuren untereinander ist eher verzweigt. So ist Hunter, der nur ein paar Jahre älter als Siena ist ihr Onkel. Und die Schwester von Pete und Hunter, Sienas Tante wird nur am Anfang kurz beschrieben und taucht dann erst zu Ende wieder auf. Aber so ist das wahre Leben. Was ich gut fand, ist das Tilly Bagshawe jede ihrer Figuren die Sicht der Dinge erzählen lässt, dadurch entsteht beim Leser ein umfangreiches Bild auf die Handlung:

Bagshawe describes in her book the Fall and Rise of an entire family. Although Siena is the protagonist but it is only a single plotline. Your pre is the history between Duke, his family and the young Caroline.
Then of course is the act between Pete and Claire, Siena parents. And Siena, Max, Hunter and Tiffany. And last but not least between Max and his family.
Siena makes throughout the book through a number of transformations and plays two different characters. The outward, where she is aloof and perfect and inwardly towards Hunter and Max, where she is vulnerable and insecure.
Each of these characters is perfectly designed and ensures the perfect overall picture of the family is created.

Conclusion:
I liked the book, but it is telling in a loose way, but also shows the depths of Hollywood. The only thing confusing was sometimes the Characterconstellation. So I often lost track straight at Hunter and Caroline who now belongs to whom. The relationship between the characters is more branched. So is Hunter, who is only a few years older than Siena her uncle. And the sister of Pete and Hunter, Siena aunt is described only at the beginning and then briefly appeared only to end up again. But so is the true life. What I found good, Tilly Bagshawe each of her characters can tell the way of seeing things, this creates in the reader a comprehensive picture on the plot:
