Plot:

The alcoholic Rachel Watson travels into London every day and drives by a house every time. A couple is living there. Rachel calls them Jason and Jess. One Day she sees Jess kissing a strange guy and the Day after she suddenly vanishes. In the night she goes missing , Rachel walks down the street drunken and sees it all, but cant remember it. Now she tries to remember for the sake of Scott, Megans
( Jess and Jason) husband, who she starts a relationship with. At the same time she has to deal with with her ex-Husband Tom and his new wife. He tries to Label  her as drunk and not reliable.

Characters:

The main Character Rachel Watson , is a women who was married to Tom. Because they couldn't concive, she started drinking and eventually she and Tom broke apart. She now lives with her college friend. Rachel tries to stop drinking after the accident and tries to relocate into her old life. But at the same time she seemed to can't let go of Tom.

Anna, is Toms new wife. She is now happily married with a little daughter. But at the same time she feels constantly threatened by Rachel.

Megan, she is Jess. Megan lives with Scott, but also feels unhappy in their relationship, because she feels like Scott is constantly supervising her. So she starts to try getting away from him.

The book constantly Switches between these three persons and tries to show it from different perspectives.

I absolut adored it. It was just so amazing. I couldn't guess who actually killed her until the very end, and then it all made sense. I really like the way she writes it. You can litterally feel how helpless Rachel is, she tries to be a good witness , but at the same time she just wants to forgett all that has happened. So its an absolute must read.
