Frankfurter Buchmesse 2016 / Frankfurt Bookfair 2016

Am Samstag war ich auf der Frankfurter Buchmesse und es war wie letztes Jahr absolut super.
Morgens frühs um 6 ging es mit dem Zug los Richtung Frankfurt. Auf der Messe angekommen wurde erst einmal Halle 3.0 mit der Kinder und Jugendliteratur gestürmt. Hier gab es viele neue Leseinspirationen und Ideen, wie zum Beispiel 'Im Hause Longbourn' von Jo Baker - hierbei geht es darum wie sich in einem britischen Herrenhaus eine der Dienstmädchen in einen neu angekomen Arbeitskollegen verliebt. Das ganze baut auf Jane Austens 'Stolz und Vorurteil' auf und spielt mit den bis jetzt eher unbekannten Nebencharakteren des Buches. Also der Küchenhilfe. Gesetzt ist es im viktorianischen England und am rande spielt sich natürlich die bekannte Geschichte zwischen Elisabeth und Mr. Darcy Und da ich ja sehr auf historische Romane stehe...
Auch zu sehen war der neue illustrierte Band zu 'Harry Potter und die Kammer des Schreckens' sowie das neue Buch 'Harry Potter und das verwunschene Kind'. Der Carlsen stand an sich war sehr cool gemacht, relativ groß mit vielen von der Decke hängenden Elementen.
Als nächstes ging es dann zur Signierstunde von Cecilia Ahern, wo ich mir 'P.S ich liebe dich' habe signieren lassen. Cecilia war total nett und es ging auch wirklich flott. Sie stellte nebenher ihr erstes Jugendbuch vor, welches es natürlich auch am Stand zu erwerben gab.
Auch sehr cool war der 1m hohe Playmobil-Goethe am Stand des Freistaats Thüringen. Ich kannte bis her nur die Luther-version, aber es war auf jedenfall sehr sehenswert.
Danach ging es weiter in der Halle 3.1 mit den großen deutschen Verlagen auf Entdeckungstour. So fand ich auch am Stand vom Thiele Verlag den neuen Nicholas Barreau 'Verliebt in Venedig'. Da ich auch seine anderen Teile nur empfehlen kann ist dieses Buch für mich ein absoluter must-have. Seine Bücher drehen sich oftmals um Bücherliebhaber in Paris. In diesem Buch geht es um eine junge buchliebende ( ist das überhaupt ein Wort?) Französin die Hals über Kopf nach Venedig reist um dem Geheimnis eines Ringes auf die Spur zu kommen und sich ganz nebenbei noch in irgendeinen heißen Typen verliebt.
Und last but not least war ich noch am Stand der Self-publisher wo mir vor allem der Roman von Emma C. Moore 'Finian Blue Summer' ins Auge stach. Die junge Rayne hat wie jede normale 19-Jährige Träume und Wünsche, jedoch kann sie diese nicht so ausleben, da sie eine gefeierte Star-Geigerin ist. Als ihr alles zu viel wird fängt sie an zu schweigen und flüchtet sich in eine Privatklinik. Hier trifft sie auf den Praktikanten Finian, welcher ihr helfen möchte. Die beiden verbringen Zeit zusammen und es beginnt eine abenteuerliche Reise...
Zu guter letzt waren wir dann noch bei 'Wir machen Druck', einer Internetplatform für Online-Druck. Hier gab es an einem Glücksrad wirklich coole T-Shirts zu gewinnen. Auf denen steht 'The Walking Druck', schon ziemlich cool.
Am Abend ging es dann müde und erschöpft zurück nach Hause :-D

On Saturday I was at the Frankfurt Book Fair and it was absolutely great just as last year.
In the morning at 6 o'clock, I went by train to Frankfurt. At the fair, Hall 3.0 was launched with children's literature and youth literature. There were many new reading inspiration and ideas, such as' ' Longbourn 'by Jo Baker - this is about how a maid falls in love with one of the butlers. The whole story builds on Jane Austen 's pride and prejudice and plays with the hitherto rather unknown sidecharacters of the book. So the kitchen aid. It is set in Victorian England and on the edge, of course, the well-known story between Elisabeth and Mr. Darcy is continuing. And since I am very much interested on historical novels ...
Also to be seen was the new illustrated book on 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets', as well as the new book 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child'. The Carlsen booth was very cool, relatively large with many elements hanging from the ceiling.
Next we went to the signing session of Cecilia Ahern, where I signed 'P.S I love you'. Cecilia was very nice and it was moving along really fast. She also presented her first youth book, which of course was available on the stand.
Also cool was the 1m high Playmobil-Goethe at the stand of Freistaatats Thüringen. I knew only the Luther version, but it was definitely worth seeing.
Afterwards, we went on to the large German publishing houses in Hall 3.1. So I found on the stand of Thiele publishing house the new Nicholas Barreau 'Loved in Venedig'. Since I can also recommend his other parts, this book is for me an absolute must-have. His books often revolve around book lovers in Paris. This book is about a young bookloving (who is a word at all?) french women, who travels head to head to Venice to find out the secret of a ring and falls in love with some hot guy.
And last but not least, I was still at the booth of the self-publisher where I especially the Emma C. Moore novel 'Finian Blue Summer' envisioned. The young Rayne, like every normal 19-year-old, has dreams and desires, but she can not live it out as she is a celebrated star violinist. When everything is too much for her, she begins to keep silent and escapes to a private clinic. Here she meets the trainee Finian, who wants to help her. The two spend time together and an adventurous journey begins ...
Last but not least we were still at 'We make Druck', an internet platform for online printing. Here, on a wheel of fortune, there was really cool t-shirts to win. The 'Walking Print' is quite cool.
In the evening we went home tired and exhausted
