So geht es auch Hope. Der erste Band erzählt Hopes Geschichte. Sie ist eine junge Frau in New York. Sie stammt aus einer einflussreichen Familie, ihr Vater möchte der nächste Bürgermeister werden. Zudem ist Hope verlobt, doch ihr Verlobter ist ein Verfechter von häuslicher Gewalt.
Jayden wiederum  ist der Leiter eines Marklerbüros. Leider läuft es nicht sehr gut. Als ihm sein Kollege vorschlägt die junge Mitarbeiterin Hope mit zu den Veranstaltungen zu nehmen ist er überhaupt nicht begeistert. Doch nach den ersten beiden Treffen bemerken sie, dass sie eigentlich ein sehr gutes Team sind. Wäre da nicht Hopes dominanter Verlobter und ihr Vater im Wahlkampf der ihr keinen öffentlichen Fehltritt erlaubt.

Ich hatte mir das Buch als Weihnachtslektüre für den Kindle gekauft und muss sagen ich habe alle drei Bände innerhalb kürzester Zeit verschlungen. Die Geschichte spielt abwechselnd aus Hopes und Jaydens Sicht. Beide erzählen von ihren  Gefühlen und Eindrücken in den jeweiligen Situationen. Ich mag den Verlauf der Geschichte sehr. Sie spiegelt eine zu beginn sehr gebrochene Hope wieder, die jedoch mit der Unterstützung von Jayden in der Lage ist alle Ungereimtheiten zu überwinden. Auch ist es keine 08-15 Lovestory bei der sich beide Charaktere auf den ersten Blick unsterblich ineinander verlieben. Die beiden sind zu Anfang eher genervt voneinander und kommen sich erst im Laufe der Geschichte näher. Auch das Setting mit der glamurösen Welt New Yorks ist sehr schön gewählt. Es ist schon relativ früh zu merken, dass Hope als eher freier und kreativer Mensch nicht wirklich in dieses Umfeld passt und daher auch immer wieder aneckt. Jayden ist hier ihr perfekter Gegenpart, er weiß sich zu präsentieren und in diesem Feld umzugehen.

Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Buch. Der Leser erlebt das volle Gefühl und kann während des kompletten Buchs mitfiebern. Eine Empfehlung für alle die auf große Gefühle stehen.

That's the way Hope is. The first volume tells Hope's story. She is a young woman in New York. She comes from an influential family, her father wants to be the next mayor of New York. In addition, Hope is engaged, but her fiancé is a friend of domestic violence.

Jayden, on the other hand, is the head of a marketer office. Unfortunately, things are not going very well. When his colleague proposes to take the young employee Hope to the events, he is not at all thrilled. But after the first two meetings, they realize that they are actually a very good team. If there would not be Hope's dominant fiancé and her father in the election campaign that allowed her no public misstep.



I had bought the book as Christmas reading for the Kindle and I have to say I swallowed all three volumes in no time. The story alternates between Hopes and Jayden's point of view. Both tell of their feelings and impressions in each situation. I like the story very much. It reflects an initially broken Hope, but with the support of Jayden is able to overcome all inconsistencies. Also, it is not a 08-15 love story in which both characters fall in love at first glance immortal. The two are rather annoyed at the beginning and come closer in the course of history. The setting with the glamorous world of New York is also very well chosen. It is relatively early to notice that Hope as a more free and creative person does not really fit into this environment and therefore also repeatedly infected. Jayden is her perfect counterpart here, he knows how to present himself and deal with this field.



All in all, a very nice book. The reader experiences the full feeling and can cheer throughout the book. A recommendation for all who are in the mood for great feelings.
